WhooshTranscription LTD was founded in 2011. Started as a part-time freelancing gig, it now employs 3 dedicated full time transcribers.

We’re based in Embu and offer professional transcription, subtitling and captioning services. Specifically we specialize in YouTube Subtitling and Captioning, Radio Shows and Podcasts transcription, Television Shows Transcription, Documentary films Transcription and Media Interviews Transcription. We also provide academic and other transcription services to individuals and companies.

Isaac is our Operations Manager.  He started transcribing in 2000 – at the turn of the millennium – and got hooked. He’s an anthropologist by profession and loves engaging with people’s everyday practices. He’s easy going and will go to any lengths to meet clients’ needs and expectation. Nancy has been at WhooshTranscription since its infancy and is by profession a transcriber.  She has over two years hands-on-experience transcribing audios and videos with various accents. She enjoys transcribing for the new insights she gains. Her passions are cooking and taking care of her lovely daughter: her inspiration.
